whatsnext only collects information needed to provide the service and a smooth, personalized experience, such as saved events, bookings, and language preferences. This may also include event photographs or recordings in which you are identifiable. We do not sell your data for advertising.

You can access, update, or delete your account data through your profile settings. For requests concerning photographs or recordings, contact info@shado.sa. We store and process information in line with applicable data protection laws.

Event photographs and recordings

What may be collected: Photographs and audio or video recordings may be captured at events. A recording is personal data when it can identify you directly or indirectly.

Who may capture it: Photography or recording may be carried out by whatsnext, Shado, the Organizer, the venue, or authorized photographers and media service providers. An Organizer may independently control material it captures or publishes for its own purposes.

Why it may be used: Material may be used to document and cover an event, operate the platform, and promote whatsnext, the event, or the Organizer, based on appropriate notice, your consent where required, or another available lawful basis. It will not be used for a new incompatible purpose without satisfying applicable legal requirements.

Publication and sharing: Material lawfully used may appear on our websites, applications, social-media accounts, or editorial and promotional materials. We share it only with the Organizer, venue, service providers needed for the stated purpose, or where required by law. We do not sell it to advertisers.

Retention: Identifiable material is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose or a legal obligation, after which it is deleted or anonymized when there is no lawful need to keep it.

Your choices and rights: You may tell event staff on arrival that you do not wish to appear. You may also ask to access a specific image, correct associated data, stop its use, delete it, or withdraw consent by contacting info@shado.sa. We will assess and act on the request as required by law and direct you to the Organizer where it independently controls the material.

Children and legal capacity: We request consent from the legal guardian for use of an identifiable image of a child or a person lacking full legal capacity where required by law.
