These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the whatsnext application and website ("whatsnext", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Shado ("Shado"). By creating an account, browsing events, or booking a ticket, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use whatsnext.

1. About whatsnext

whatsnext is a platform that helps you discover cultural events and institutions and book tickets or register for them. whatsnext is a ticketing and discovery service; the events themselves are organized and delivered by the institutions and organizers listed on the platform ("Organizers"), not by Shado.

2. Eligibility & your account

• You must be able to form a binding contract to use whatsnext. If you are under the legal age, you may use whatsnext only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your account secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Discovering events

Event details (dates, times, locations, prices, capacity, descriptions, images) are provided by Organizers. We work to keep listings accurate but do not warrant that every detail is correct, complete, or current. Always check the event's own information before you travel or attend.

4. Bookings & tickets

• When you book or register for an event, you receive a ticket or a schedule entry in the app, and, for ticketed events, a QR code that serves as your entry credential.
• A ticket is valid for a single admission unless stated otherwise. Do not share or duplicate your QR code; a ticket may be refused if it has already been scanned or if it appears invalid.
• Some events have limited capacity. A booking is only confirmed once you receive confirmation in the app; where an event sells out during checkout, your booking may not complete and any amount captured will be refunded.
• Where offered, a waitlist lets you ask to be notified if space becomes available. Joining a waitlist does not guarantee a ticket.

5. Prices, payments & VAT

• Prices are shown in Saudi Riyals (SAR) unless stated otherwise.
• Applicable taxes, including Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing KSA rate (currently 15%), are added on top of the ticket price and shown before you pay.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider, Moyasar, and supported methods including Apple Pay. Shado does not store your full card details.
• By paying, you authorize the total shown (ticket price plus VAT and any applicable fees) to be charged to your selected payment method.

6. Refunds & cancellations

• Unless an event is cancelled or materially changed by the Organizer, or unless the Organizer's stated policy allows it, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
• If an Organizer cancels an event, you are entitled to a refund of the amount you paid for the affected tickets. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear.
• If an event is rescheduled, your ticket will normally remain valid for the new date; if you cannot attend the new date, refund eligibility follows the Organizer's policy.
• We are not responsible for incidental costs (such as travel or accommodation) related to a cancelled or changed event.

7. Ticket transfers

Where the app supports it, you may transfer a ticket to another person. Once transferred, the ticket becomes valid for the recipient and is no longer valid for you. Do not sell tickets above face value or resell them commercially without the Organizer's permission.

8. Changes by Organizers

Organizers may change an event's time, venue, program, or lineup, or cancel it. We will pass on material changes we are notified of, but we do not control Organizers and are not liable for their decisions.

9. Your conduct

You agree not to misuse whatsnext, including not to: provide false information; use another person's account or payment method without authorization; copy, tamper with, or resell tickets fraudulently; attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service; or violate any law or the rules of a venue or Organizer.

10. Content & intellectual property

whatsnext, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by Shado and protected by law. Event content belongs to the respective Organizers. You may not copy or use our or Organizers' content except as needed to use the service normally.

11. Privacy

Your use of whatsnext is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

• whatsnext is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here.
• Shado is a ticketing and discovery platform. The delivery, quality, safety, and content of an event are the responsibility of the Organizer. Your attendance is at your own risk and subject to the venue's and Organizer's rules.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shado's total liability arising from your use of whatsnext or any ticket is limited to the amount you paid for the ticket in question.

13. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, is used fraudulently, or poses a risk to the service or other users.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continuing to use whatsnext after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
